The One Thing that is Impossible with God

Without faith - Jairus' daughter would not have been raised from the dead.
Without faith - the woman with the issue of blood would not have received her healing.
Without faith - Peter would not have gotten out of the boat to walk to Jesus, . . .
and without faith you won't accomplish anything for God.
The Bible says, without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God. Have you ever tried to please someone on earth, maybe a parent, sibling or loved one? To please another person you had to do or say something that the person you were addressing would favor or like. To please another your thoughts and preferences about what you like and what you think are not important. What is important are the thoughts and preferences of the person you were addressing.
For example, your mother is especially pleased when you call her on her birthday, but for some reason, you weren't able to make the call. How do you think your mother felt after watching the day pass without a call from her favorite son or daughter? How do you think she felt about your love or appreciation for her? She still loves you and will not hesitate to help you, but how do you think she felt? Do you think by not doing something that you know pleases her left her feeling unloved, rejected and unimportant? Well, it is the same way as God.
If you are born again, we are God's children and He has even stronger feelings for us than our natural parents. God is not an unattached, task master that's watching us from heaven screw up our lives. He's not a God that doesn't feel what we are feeling and hurt when we are hurt. He's not a God that doesn't love attention, love and respect from His children. He said, He will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5 ). He is tenderhearted and can be heartbroken over the things we fail to do. Why do you think Israel had so many judgements fall on them? They received continued judgement when they turned away from Him to pursue other gods. Their biggest sin was leaving him. If you ever been cheated on, that's exactly how God felt when His children pursued the gods of Egypt.
You may not be pursuing other gods or even going out of your way to sin, but how is your relationship with Him? I know my relationship could be better. I have blamed God for situations I put myself in. I have gotten mad at God for leaving me too long in those situations when I should have been looking at my own shortcomings and the devil. All the while, I was in this negative state of mind. I was neglecting my relationship with God. I was neglecting my faith!
The Bible says, with God all things are possible. Everything that you see that you don't like. Everything that you are that you'd rather not be and everything under heaven that is not right is possible to change. All things are possible, but God says there is one thing that is impossible. God said in Hebrews_11:6, without faith, it is impossible to please Him. Impossible means something that cannot be done. Ponder what this means. From the God who states, 'all things are possible' has one exception where you and i are concerned. Giving the heart of God great satisfaction is impossible, which cannot be done if we don't have faith. To touch the heart of God as you touch the heart of your mother by calling her on her birthday can only be done if we have faith.
And we know faith is important because the blessings of God come through faith. Salvation in Jesus comes by faith. The miracle working power of God is brought into manifestation though faith. There is nothing under the sun that we can do for God and receive from God without the substance of faith. For if you are walking by faith, you are pleasing God. God's heart gets pleasure from seeing you, ‘walk by faith’.
The world wants you to believe in magic, but the children of God have something more powerful —faith. The same faith that raised Jesus from the dead, (Col 2:12), resides in you now. The Bible says, in Hab 2:4.. . but the just shall live by his faith. We live by faith. We use faith to receive and bring to pass the things God has for us. The currency of receiving the things of God is faith. On earth, we have to earn some form of currency to buy a car, a house or even a burger, but with God, things are different. We don't earn anything. Everything has already been provided and has been given to us freely (I Corinthians 2:12). All the things we need from God have already been provided by his precious blood and the resurrection of Christ.
Here is an example. Let's say that your grandparents left you a million dollar trust fund. You know you have the money because it has been transferred into an account in your name. You see, the bank statements that arrive every month but you are sitting on your couch eating cheese and crackers all because you haven't made a request for any part of that money. It is the same with God. He has given us all things freely but we are going without because we simply need to put in a request. The Bible says in Matthew 7:7 ask, and it shall be given you.... Matthew 7:8 says, for every one that asketh receiveth;... .
Requesting from God is no different from heading to your bank and requesting funds from your trust. You request your funds by putting in a call or going to the bank. You request from God by calling out to him with faith in prayer. The only big difference between putting in your request with your earthly bank account and God is, initially, sight. With your trust fund, you can see the money in your account. You can go to the bank and have money in hand. You can see it, but with God we can not see it, at first, but it is just as real. God's answer for not seeing it this: we walk by faith and not by sight, (II Corinthians 5:7). Our faith helps us understand what we have in God, even though we can not see it. We have to walk by faith UNTIL we see it.
God saved the world over 2000 years ago so when someone gets saved now, he or she is just receiving what God has already done. God is not doing anything now, they are just receiving what God has already done in the distant past. When you ask God for a mate is not when He provided it. God knows what we need of before we ask. And you are reaching out with the tool of faith to experience it in your life. You aren't getting something from God that He now has to do. You are getting something from God what He has already done.
Therefore, since I have found in the Bible where it is His will for me to marry a godly mate. Faith tells me I have it even when I can not see it. It is by faith that I receive and will eventually have. It is faith that brings it from the unseen into the seen. I have often said that getting that spouse you want is 'one faith-filled prayer away' and sometimes there are things that can stop it.
